My name is Dee-anne Mackenzie and I am an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with 26 years of nursing experience, providing professional ear wax removal in Stornoway.
Originally from Edinburgh, I moved to Stornoway in 2005 and have proudly called it home ever since. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings, building extensive experience in patient care and safe, evidence-based practice.
I offer ear wax removal using microsuction - the safest and most effective method - and occasionally irrigation when clinically appropriate. My priority is always your comfort, safety, and reassurance. I take time to explain the procedure, answer any questions, and ensure you feel completely at ease throughout your appointment.
As a registered healthcare professional, I provide treatment in a calm, hygienic environment, with before-and-after visualisation so you can see the results for yourself.
My aim is simple: to help you hear clearly again and leave feeling comfortable and confident.
How It Works

Blocked ears can cause mild discomfort to severe pain. Microsuction ear wax removal can alleviate the symptoms immediately, and is a quick and pain-free procedure. Our specialist team has many years of experience delivering microsuction ear wax removal to patients and can help you regain your auditory health.
This is £35 for one ear, £60 for both. For the appointment and assessment a non-refundable £10 deposit is required. If there is wax, this £10 will be deducted from the total cost of the ear wax removal performed. If there is no wax, an assessment and advice is still given for the £10 deposit.
Follow up appointments are £20.
